I love the way the E came out, but am curious as to why the red dissapeared? was it there for inspiration on the E? I think it might have a little more 'pop' if there was a little color splashed into the design, but the line work looks great. :)
Well I chose to manipulate type, similar to si scott because it has a very instrumental quality to it that i just find absolutely beautiful! and I have never really worked in this style before so I was giving a try at it...as far as why i chose the e verses the other letters i felt the line qualtiy and "swirls" would be nicely distributed throughout the whole word nicely...so it was purely based on composition not really any connection to the actual letter itself...however, as i kept coming back to the piece i felt as though I wasnt achieving the emotion and feeling that i had wanted so i restarted and posted the new version...i am much happier with the new outcome it feels more unified and flows throughout the work much smoother then the previous comp.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why the "e" is different from the rest of the text, is it because of its association with things internet or electronic?
